Engines
Yahooligans
- One of the first to cater to students. A very safe site.

- A good search engine that offers a "Green Light" option. If you click
on the "Green Light" you will only get sites that are apparently free
of adult content. They also offer thousands of rated sites.
Planet
K-12 - A bit slow at times, but this is a nice engine that searches
just educational sites.

to educators. Has a registry program for looking for and registering your
own interactive projects.

Nicely Done Educational Sites
