Monthly Cycle

Each month a new topic will be brought before the membership of the EMUN. The cycle for handling issues will be as established below. Click on the sub-section for more information on the various parts of the cycle.

Monthly "Current Issue" Cycle

Cycle DayDescription of Activities
Day1 - Day 15
Research topics that interest your delegation (See Resolution Topic List). Write resolutions using EUN resolution guidelines. E-mail your resolutions to other delegations participating in the simulation and seek sponsorship.
Day 16
Deadline: All Resolutions submitted to the EUN for selection of the top 3 Survey questions sent to school by EUN.
Day 18
Ballots issued to delegations through e-mail. Votes due by e-mail selecting 3 "finalist" resolutions by the end of the day
Day 19 - Day 25
Vote results shared with all delegations and open debate begins on these three. Amendment process begins.
Day 26
Deadline: Amendment submissions due today
Day 27 - Day 30Ballots issued to delegations and a vote is taken to demonstrate which 3 resolutions carry the most support. Results issued to Delegations
Day 1
Day one of the next cycle starts. Delegations will consider what nation they may play in a second cycle. Then the results of previous month's survey are given to members the first week of the new cycle.
