Poetry is not something to be written and hidden away. It is something to be read and re-read. It is something to be listened to and shared. The schools you will find below are doing all of those things and more. One additional thing that these authors get is the chance to become "published" for a global audience. Each poem represents a lot of individual effort by a student and a teacher. They hope you will find it both enjoyable and thought-provoking as the students attempt to share their emotions and thoughts concerning the topic at hand. Our first theme is called The Holiday Season. There are a lot of holidays celebrated around the world during the months of December and January. We are encouraging classes to explore all the meanings of the various holidays and then share what a specific holiday means to them. All of the students and teachers involved in this project thank you for your taking the time to read some of their work.
