Information for Teachers

First, this area is still under construction but should be finalized very soon. This project was started by a DoDEA (Department of Defense Education Activity) teacher and so is specifically aimed at helping achieve part of our curriculum objectives. Part of the way this is measure is through a writing assessment. Students are given topics and a specific type of writing, i.e. expository, descriptive narrative, etc., and they then need to produce a finished product. We going to be providing directions that are specific to various grade levels to help teachers achieve this goal, but the same lessons could be used by anyone anywhere and tied into almost any curriculum. We encourage teachers in what every state, province or country you find yourself in to join in on the fun and the learning. The students will then post their finished writing to the database.
