Monthly Cycle

Each month a new topic will be brought before the membership of the EUN. The cycle for handling issues will be as established below. Click on the sub-section for more information on the various parts of the cycle.

Monthly "Current Issue" Cycle

Cycle Day Description of Activities
Day1 - Day 10
Research and discussion on current topic.
Day 11 - Day 15
Write Proposals for EUN General Assembly. Survey questions sent to school by EUN.
Day 16 - Day 20 Countries discuss all formal "Proposals" within their classroom countries. Official ambassadors to the EUN enter into public debate through discussions on the EUN Bulletin Board. Separate discussions and agreements are reached through private e-mail to other countries. Here heads of state can deal with other heads of state. Ambassadors vote for the top three choices of the individual countries they represent.
Day 21 - Day 25 The three proposals with the most votes are presented for final discussion and vote.
Day 26 - Day 30 Countries discuss and pledge monetary support to one of the three proposals./Questionnaires due back to EUN.
Day 1 of next cycle starts. Results of previous month's survey are given to members the first week of the new cycle.
