Background for the author of The Electronic United Nations.
I am rather shy, but you can get a good look at my face if you will wait until the sparks clear. I do appologize for the photo, but it was snapped when my boss was sending me a message to stop playing with educational simulations and to get back to work. I, of course, am a lot younger and more handsome than my boss.

Interesting Tidbits:
I started an intentional community (some people call it a commune, but it really wasn't) back in 1970's called Wassaya. It was around for over 20 years. What every happened to the "Back to the Land" movement???
I have jumped out of an airplane and flown an airplane but I am not proficient in either skill. There is a lot I am not proficient in, but don't tell my boss.
I was living in the Middle East (Bahrain) during the Iran/Iraq war and in Panama during the U.S. invasion. My relatives think our family is a bit strange.
I have had the honor of speaking before a congressional subcommittee on an educational bill and have had a proposal on schools and telecommunications reviewed and acted on by the office of the Secretary of Education and three agencies of the White House. All of that was a rush, but, as usual, nothing important came out of it.
I strongly believe that we can do whatever we want in this life if we just put our mind, our time, and our energy into working toward it. On the other hand, money seems to make getting out of life what we want a whole lot easier.
I believe if you have read all this you are crazier than I am. ;-)
